Setup

Red Zone Toss is played with two teams, each consisting of one player (singles) or two players (doubles).

Players throw their football from the QB's box next to each side of the net.
-
Players alternate turns tossing their footballs toward the opposite board. - After each team has thrown four balls, players take score, and resume pitching to the opposite net.

The team who scored points in the previous inning goes first in the next inning. If it was tied, the team who went first in the last 4 downs gets to go first again.

Standard Game Rules

Setup: The target should be placed about 15 ft. away from the throwing line, though this distance can be adjusted based on the players' age and skill level.

Players: The game is designed for 2–4 players.

Gameplay: Players alternate turns throwing all four inflatable footballs at the target.

Scoring: Points are awarded based on which hole the football goes through:

Touchdown: 7 points.

Field Goal: 3 points.

1st Down: The player earns an additional four throws.

Interception: The player's current turn ends immediately, and they lose any remaining throws for that quarter.

Game Structure: A full game consists of 4 turns per player, referred to as "quarters".

Winning: The player or team with the most points after 4 quarters wins.
